Coteaux du Layon

Tender, fine with subtle fruit, the COTEAUS-DU-LAYON displays her youth by her yellow ‘robe’. The Coteaux-du-Layon 2005 is, at this time, concentrated and fresh. It has notes of honey, acacia, and quince mixed with the creamy perfumes of figs and dried fruits.

Chaume

The notes of honey, acacia and of quince meld together with hints of fig and of dried fruits. Round, supple, and with a ‘melt in the mouth’ richness – an exceptional wine. The extremely hot summer of 2005 has produced a wine with the colour of the deepest gold.

Anjou Gamay

The nose is complex with an aroma of red fruits and in particular of red currant and sometimes blended with the notes of exotic fruits…… In the mouth it reveals a sustained bouquet, velvet, round and supple.

Anjou Villages

The ‘robe’ has a beautiful ruby colour with purple hues. The aromas evoke the scent of ripe red fruit (blackcurrants, cherries and morello cherries) The structure in the mouth is very intensive. This wine can be appreciated now but will improve over the next 1 to 2 years.

Anjou Rouge

The wine is ruby red with hints of purple. The aroma of the wine has notes of cherries, blackcurrant and raspberry. The initial taste is of velvet. The ANJOU ROUGE not only charms with her subtle and round character but also with her silky tannins and finesse.

Savennières

The grapes are harvested with a natural strength of 14% Vol. The wine has a beautiful yellow ‘robe’ with green hues and is plump and full and when mature, releases notes of quince and lime flowers.

The ‘robe’ is of a deep crystal clear straw with a glint of green. Crisp with a hint of bitterness and aromas of acacia and honey which meld well together. The initial taste is bold and intense and with a long aftertaste.

Crémant de Loire

The ‘robe’ is a crystal clear pale yellow, with fine and persistent bubbles. The aromas emanating from the Chardonnay are intense; those of the Chenin are more rounded with traces of lime blossom and of apricot. The Cabernet completes the collection by adding aromas of spice and fruit. In the mouth the initial taste is lively and is enriched by the fine bubbles: the tender aromas of white flowers and soft fruits create the perfect balance.

Récolte des raisins murs et concentrés
Pressage délicat, le cépage Grolleau attendrit le cépage Cabernet Franc très marqué par son terroir
Le séjour sur lattes s’est éffectué sur 14 mois : tirage le 12/07/2006 et dégorgement le 14/09/07.

Chaume 2005 “Cuvée Carla”

Cépages : Chenin 100 %
Cette Cuvée dédiée à notre fille est réalisée sur la parcelle la plus haute de toute l’appellation CHAUME confondue. A tous les vents cette parcelle sèche rapidement après les pluies; ceci nous permet de réaliser des vendanges tardives de très haute qualité. Cette cuvée a suscité 5 tries. Vin de garde.
